The Zeppelin LZ120 Bodensee is a classic men's wristwatch in an elegant stainless steel case, inspired by the legendary airship LZ 120 Bodensee — the first Zeppelin to feature its characteristic teardrop shape. The watch unites historical heritage with timeless aesthetics and is manufactured in-house in Ruhla, Germany. The beige dial with silver-toned numerals and indices lends the watch a warm, classic character, perfectly complemented by a matching light leather strap.
At the heart of the watch is the open-heart design, which reveals the Japanese automatic movement and brings the fascination of mechanical watchmaking directly to life. The case measures 40 mm in diameter and is water-resistant to 5 bar; the K1 mineral safety glass reliably protects the dial. Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
