Regulators - accuracy meets elegance and modernity

In general, the term 'regulator' is used for very accurate or precise running pendulum clocks and wristwatches with a regulator dial. In this category you will find numerous models of the first group, which will definitely convince you.

The rate deviation of very good regulators is less than one second per month. Characteristic of regulators are the usually rectangular, upright housing with one or more doors and glass inserts. However, the watch case was adapted to the prevailing style. Today, regulators come in many different ways to suit tastes. The majority of regulators have a percussion mechanism as well as spring drive or anchor escapement. The pendulum of a regulator is often relatively short.

Winding such a pendulum clock is basically quite simple. Depending on the model, the eisting weights must be pulled up either with the help of the spring or the chains. Due to the movement of the pendulum, they lower again according to the duration of the cycle and must soon be pulled up again. There are regulators with only one weight, but also those with several.

More modern furnishings are matched by the futuristic, minimalist-looking pendulum clock made of glass. Its dial is rectangular and the movement is completely visible.
