Of course, today's models work much more precisely than medieval watches, but even back then it was an incredible technical achievement to combine the small-scale watch components in such a way that they function flawlessly and reliably.

How do mechanical watches work? They have either a spring up to 2 meters long, which is wound manually, or a chain with the help of which weights have to be pulled up. However, since they are subject to temperature and weather differences, for example, this is not a big surprise, but completely normal. However, it is possible to have the accuracy regulated by the watchmaker. However, given the long durability of a mechanical watch, you should think twice about whether you can settle for a minimal deviation. After all, mechanical watches are true gems.
