Sturmanskie (also Shturmanskie) is one of the most traditional watch brands. Founded in 1949, the Sturmanskie watches were initially produced only for the Soviet Air Force. And so it happened that none other than the first man in space, Yuri Gagarin, wore a Sturmanskie watch on the first flight into space. So the great hour of Sturmanskie watches had come when a Sturmanskie watch was the first bracelet watch in space. Even then, people counted on the reliability of Sturmanskie watches. While Gagarin�s Sturmanskie was still mechanical, but small and simple, today�s Sturmanskie watches are more modern, larger and equipped with technical gadgets.
